Building stronger communities
Through ‘DTTA Community’ and ‘DTTA Youth Advantage’, our not-for-profit arm, we collaborate with foundations, social service and community groups to spread the natural healing power of the arts. Our music mentors help participants discover their own potential, preparing them for a lifetime of success.
Partners have included: JazzFM, The Good Shepherd, Kensington Market Jazz Festival and more.
Discovery Through the Arts staff have been universally praised for their skills as educators, accomplished performers and for their sensitive engagement with students, young and old. Together, we have workshopped five new education programs for both adults and children in underserved Toronto communities, with tremendous success.
